DuraSail cruising sails
have been available from Doyle for many years. Much care and deliberation has been given to the standard styles of woven Polyester and finishing detail to ensure long term shape retention and durability. They are predominantly crosscut in panel orientation (laid perpendicular to the leech cord) in various high tenacity constructions but in some instances, with suitable woven warp bias fabric, can be a radial cut. There is a belief that there are standard or off the shelf sails available for most brands and models of yacht. We do not subscribe to this thinking and treat all our work on an individual basis and in this way go about the design and finishing by ideally visiting the boat to obtain all the tailoring details and check dimensions or requesting additional information from the customer when there is any doubt.
